Chief Executive Officer

A chartered accountant, David has been working in insurance and reinsurance since 1995. During this time he gained significant experience across multiple lines of business and international markets. At Fastnet he looks after the strategic direction of the firm. In his spare time he can be found sailing a boat in Dun Laoghaire.

Chief Risk Officer

Originally trained as a chemical engineer, John has been working in insurance since 2005. He has significant pricing and reserving expertise across both the UK and Irish motor markets. He has also lectured in insurance analytics at IT Carlow. At Fastnet he looks after risk, product design and pricing. In his spare time he can be found tending to his garden in Leitrim.

Chief Operating Officer

Originally trained as a mechanical engineer Geoff has worked in insurance since 2008. He has significant operational and technical experience across multiple jurisdictions in both life and motor. At Fastnet he is responsible for the operations and the IT. In his spare time he can be found playing golf and running around after his kids.

Head of Underwriting Operations

Lisa brings 19 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry, including successfully managing underwriting teams in both Ireland and the UK, demonstrating her ability to navigate complex markets.
At Fastnet, Lisa directs the overall underwriting strategy, operations, and policy development. Outside of work, Lisa is passionate about horses, dedicating her spare time to riding and taking care of horses.

Head of Distribution

Conor has 8 years of experience in motor insurance. Throughout his career, Conor has excelled in developing and maintaining strong relationships with service providers.
At Fastnet, he is responsible for curating distribution channels and managing the delivery of insurance policies to consumers. When not in the office Conor can be found working his way to scratch on the golf course.

Manager

Paddy has over 20 years experience working in the insurance sector with the vast majority of the time spent within motor claims in both senior handler and management roles. He has a wealth of knowledge of the industry which he brings to his role with Fastnet and when not working he can be found coaching his local football team.

Head of Compliance

As a graduate of the King's Inns and a practicing barrister, Niamh brings a strong legal acumen to Fastnet. She has worked within the Central Bank of Ireland providing her with expertise in regulatory matters. At Fastnet, Niamh is responsible for ensuring the company stays current with all regulatory requirements and compliance standards. In her spare time, she is an avid Leinster supporter.

Compliance Officer

With 9 years of experience in the motor insurance industry, Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. As our Compliance Officer, he is dedicated to managing the complaints process and implementing internal policies to ensure smooth operations. Outside of work, Kevin is doing a computer science course.
